Winnipeg, MB, in the National Homeland of the Red River Métis – Today, Team David 2026 congratulates David Chartrand for running unopposed in a fourth historic term, his ninth overall term as President.
David will release his platform and vision for the upcoming term in the coming days and will be visiting many communities to share this vision and listen to the thoughts of Citizens over the course of the election cycle.
“I am humbled and full of gratitude by this show of faith from Red River Metis Citizens,” said President Chartrand. “The work I started almost 30 years ago has been a labour of love for our Nation, always guided by the will of our Citizens. This is work I am determined to complete in this term.”
